The people in the right seat

Every instructor here holds a CFI, several hold a CFII on top of it, and one holds an MEI. Our Chief Flight Instructor has been teaching since 1993.

Robert Greene, Chief Flight Instructor

Robert Greene

Chief Flight Instructor

CFISELMELCE500

Robert obtained his instructor certification in 1993 and has accumulated several thousand hours across multiple aircraft types. As Chief Flight Instructor he oversees instructor development, training standardization and curriculum quality, so that every student receives consistent instruction — and he is known for a calm, clear, confidence-building teaching style.

He also personally conducts discovery flights, introducing new aviators to the thrill of flying and making a first flight memorable. At the core of his philosophy is a return to fundamentals: pilotage and dead reckoning, stick-and-rudder proficiency and energy management, so pilots can respond when automation fails and conditions demand raw flying ability.

Nathan Egan, Flight Instructor

Nathan Egan

Flight Instructor

CFICFII

Nathan is a CFI and CFII with a strong passion for building safe, competent pilots. With a background in business management and finance, he is practiced at breaking complex topics into training that is easy to follow. He has flown and trained in many types of aircraft and is especially experienced in the Cessna 172.

In his free time you will find Nathan on the lake wakeboarding, on a mountain snowboarding, or in his kitchen making five-star meals. Everything he does comes with enthusiasm and an upbeat attitude — and he cannot wait to help you take your first steps into the sky.

Phil Grgurich, Flight Instructor

Phil Grgurich

Flight Instructor

CFICFII

Phil has had a passion for flying since he began building model airplanes as a child. He flew C150s and C172s as a teenager in Illinois and earned his Private Pilot license in 40 hours at 19. Since then he has logged hundreds of hours in everything from jets and multi-engine turboprops to TBM, Beechcraft, Cirrus, Vans, Cessna and Piper airplanes.

In his spare time Phil flies his Beechcraft Debonair, restores cars and rides his Harley. He lives in Lakeway, Texas, near his two daughters, and brings years of experience and a real focus on the habits that keep pilots safe and proficient.

Sarah Marsteller, Flight Instructor

Sarah Marsteller

Flight Instructor

CFICFIIMEI

Sarah’s passion for flying started when her mom used to take her flying before she could see over the dash. Those early memories stuck, and in 2019 she started flight training in North Carolina. Since then she has earned a B.S. in Aviation along with her CFI, CFII and MEI, building a career around sharing that same spark with new pilots.

While instructing she focuses on a learning environment that is safe, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. When she is not flying she is usually outside somewhere — camping, hiking, or traveling whenever she gets the chance — and she brings that same energy to every flight.

What to expect from us

The standard behind
every lesson

A standard, not a style

Our Chief Flight Instructor oversees instructor development, standardization and curriculum quality, so the lesson you get is the lesson every student gets.

Time on the schedule

Flight operations run 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and we keep aircraft and instructor availability ahead of demand — so you are not competing for slots.

A path past the checkride

Top-performing graduates have a direct track to instruct with Watch Me Fly Academy, and from there to fly for Sky Tour Adventures, our aerial sightseeing division.
